From e5b37b8b9e010cd86a8f0c7a46d661e7cbaa4a46 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Brandon Thomas Date: Fri, 9 Oct 2026 11:48:03 -0400 Subject: [PATCH] Fix #454: dependencies keep only line tables in dev builds (#559) On Windows every integration-test binary links the whole app and gets its own 500-600 MB PDB, mostly debug info for third-party crates, so one `cargo test --workspace` needs ~38 GB of target dir. [profile.dev.package."*"] now sets debug = "line-tables-only". "*" matches only non-workspace packages (crates.io dependencies and the vendored crates under vendor/, which are excluded from the workspace), so our own crates keep full debug info and dependency frames still show file and line in backtraces.
