morluto f6905719c3 fix(browser): bound capture work and preserve observation gaps
Own service-worker CDP registrations and retry failed teardown. Admit redaction and network metadata against remaining capture capacity, retain explicit omission reasons, and preserve source URL, redirect ancestry, caller-selected content, and historical capture values. Forward CLI cancellation through provider cleanup.

Reviewed fixes: #2263, #2637, #2767, #2845, #2859, #2863, #2872, #2874, #2876, #2879, #2955, #2957, #2961, #3033.

Validation: 25 current event/network source tests passed; earlier focused browser lanes passed 201 source tests and 176 boundary tests with two skips, plus 35 Python tests. Real browser/Windows lanes were not rerun. Playwright allocation before admission remains unbounded by these retention limits.

fix(browser): report complete storage key inventory changes (#2861)
* fix(browser): report complete storage key inventory changes

* fix(browser): preserve unavailable storage inventory coverage

Reuse the key-coverage propagation and independent fingerprint mapping proposed by chAng-L19 in morluto/rea#2491. Propagate failed or malformed inventories into the canonical completeness ledger before comparing membership; preserve independently proven value changes. Add producer-to-comparison regressions and document recapture requirements.

feat(browser): attach passive tools to browsers without HTTP discovery (#2346)
* feat(browser): attach passive tools to browsers without HTTP discovery

Accept a literal loopback browser WebSocket,
ws://127.0.0.1:PORT/devtools/browser/ID, as the cdp_endpoint of the six
passive browser tools. Discovery then reads Browser.getVersion and
Target.getTargets over that socket, and the target session adopts the
same socket, so a browser that asks for consent per connection prompts
once per call.

The socket identifier gates access, so Evidence records the endpoint as
ws://127.0.0.1:PORT/devtools/browser/[REDACTED], and runtime
reconciliation accepts that recorded form. HTTP endpoints and their
Evidence are unchanged. Electron, web runtime, scenario and Inspector
endpoints stay HTTP-only.

Refs #2288

* test(browser): match browser-socket captures against HTTP discovery

Check in the real Chrome lane that DevToolsActivePort names the same
browser socket as /json/version, and that inspecting the selected page
through that socket leaves DOM structure and scripts unchanged compared
with an inspection through HTTP discovery.

Refs #2288

* fix(browser): bound browser-socket handshake and report discovery timeouts

Run the browser-socket WebSocket handshake and both discovery commands
under one discovery deadline, so a port that accepts the connection but
never completes the upgrade times out instead of waiting forever.

Report a reached deadline as a timeout without carrying the internal
abort as its cause, so CLI and MCP project provider_timeout rather than
cancelled. Caller cancellation is still reported as cancelled.

feat(fiddler): inspect native SAZ captures
Inspect bounded recorded raw HTTP/XML SAZ archives and page retained capture Evidence. Preserve exact stored bytes and provenance, validate ZIP/XML integrity, and require an enforceable decoder memory bound.

Verified 356 real recorded sessions against independent byte and metadata oracles, public CLI/MCP parity, retained pages, and related interface checks. Current Fiddler Everywhere GUI and non-Linux producer workflows remain unverified.

docs: correct drift and reorganize English guides (#2207)
Put setup, developer commands, MCP replies, and investigation recipes before
client details and implementation references. Preserve existing guide anchors,
examples, provenance, partial-result recovery, and provider restrictions.

Correct verified documentation drift, synchronize the Ghidra capability
wording, and regenerate metadata for skill version 40. Keep uncertain platform
and lifecycle findings unchanged. Refs #2156.

Validation: 56 focused tests, check:fast, docs:check, VitePress production build,
format and link/example checks. Real isolated CLI/MCP probes cover Ghidra,
NativeAOT, HAR, cancellation, Chrome, large ELF delivery, native type limits,
and the new JS/managed/process/setup recipes. Heavy work uses two CPUs;
a resource-heavy DOM probe was stopped and replaced by a smaller real CDP
payload-limit control. Windows, macOS GUI, ADB, and the full CI matrix were
not executed.

morluto c57e759ae6 fix(browser): bypass desktop keyrings in verification fixtures
Use password-store=basic for owned raw Chrome verification processes and document the same option for dedicated caller-owned Linux investigation profiles. Locked keyrings can stall navigation and leave placeholder frame URLs; keep the existing committed-URL authorization boundary.

Validation: real Chrome 154 CLI and stdio MCP browser verifier passed on macOS ARM64, plus docs freshness and check:fast. The locked Linux desktop keyring environment was not reproduced locally.

morluto 7b25a73ac4 fix(browser): bound CDP messages by the shared budget
Apply the 64 MiB protocol message limit when connect callers omit an override. Reject invalid explicit limits, including values that wrap through ws signed 32-bit coercion and disable enforcement. Preserve the typed payload_limit reason through disconnect and later commands.

Validation: 16 transport boundary tests passed, including UTF-8 exact/+1 limits and an oversized frame header without allocating its body. Real Chrome 154 CLI/MCP browser verification and check:fast passed. This caps message bytes, not decoded JSON heap size.

fix(cli): accept JSON files for web capture and screenshot comparisons (#1397)
compare-web-captures and compare-web-screenshots parsed their arguments as
inline JSON only, unlike every other JSON-input command. Screenshot
artifacts and scenario captures embed base64 PNG bytes, so a typical
viewport screenshot exceeds the command-line length limit (128 KiB per
argument on Linux, 1 MiB total on macOS) and could not be compared from
the CLI at all, while MCP accepts it. A file path was reported as
malformed JSON, and screenshot schema failures returned no issues.

Each argument now accepts inline JSON or a JSON file path through
parseCliJsonInput; file failures keep its path diagnostics, malformed
inline JSON keeps the field issue, and screenshot validation reports
projected schema issues. The tests share one CLI JSON process fixture.

morluto 4951a897c5 fix(browser)!: preserve payload shapes and WebMCP declarations
Retain primitive and nested array types with typed paths, and compare only mutually observed body shapes while preserving selected coverage uncertainty. Return full untrusted WebMCP input declarations with canonical digests, without resolving references or invoking tools.

BREAKING CHANGE: JSON shape paths now contain typed property and array-element segments. WebMCP input_schema_shape is replaced by input_schema and input_schema_sha256, retaining declared examples and defaults.

feat(browser): trace captured website module imports (#879)
* feat(browser): trace captured website module imports

Compose verified exported scripts, inert native import syntax and a narrow
Chromium resolution port. Preserve query/fragment identity, import-map context,
all reported capture candidates and explicit unknown execution. Share named
CLI/MCP contracts and retain native reports, diagnostics and cleanup failures.

Add focused boundary regressions and a real module-loading oracle to the
existing conditional Chrome lane. No captured application code is executed
by module tracing, and no selected website asset is refetched.

* fix(browser): preserve module contexts and source bindings

Keep capture completeness inline, validate actual source text against its
digest, and separate unsupported URL contexts from malformed input.
Use the importer origin for native module resolution and the selected map
base independently, including mixed HTTP/HTTPS and escaped HTML attributes.

refactor(browser): align inspector exclusions with canonical vocabulary (#834)
Report canonical BrowserExclusionReasons from runtime location
authorization (unsupported_url, not_approved) and collapse them
onto the fixed V8 wire bucket via inspectorExclusionKey, keeping
describeInspectorTargetLimitations text stable. Document the
provider authority split (attach-only CDP/V8 vs owned-runtime
Playwright) so the shared vocabulary is not re-split.

* fix(deps): remediate reachable archive-parsing advisories

Two high-severity advisories are reachable from untrusted target content:

- @xmldom/xmldom 0.9.10 (via plist) parses XML plist bytes from analyzed
app bundles in the keyed-archive reader. Refreshed to 0.9.12.
- brace-expansion 5.0.7 (via @electron/asar -> minimatch) is reached while
analyzing untrusted ASAR archives. Refreshed to 5.0.12.

Both are in-range patch updates (plist declares ^0.9.10, minimatch declares
^5.0.5), so no source or API change is required and no direct dependency
declaration moves. Lockfile-only change.

The remaining smol-toml advisory is not included: it parses operator-owned
client configuration rather than untrusted target content, and its fix moves
outside the declared range and changes leading-BOM handling.

fix(tools)!: simplify direct invocation and harden boundary contracts (#555)
Remove REA permission grants, scope ceilings, approval confirmations, and inert settings. Preserve selected local evidence, accept caller-chosen commands and paths, and report actual runtime failures.

Harden provider results, schema serialization, snapshot evidence binding, archive paths, source maps, native screenshots, managed EH parsing, and cancellation cleanup. Regenerate tool metadata and document direct invocation.

BREAKING CHANGE: Removed permission configuration and policy commands, approval fields, filesystem scope inputs, and fixed confirmation options. Process capture inherits the host environment and accepts command names; callers must refresh tool schemas and migrate removed fields.
