Move hasScheme/stripQueryAndFragment/admitsCanonicalPathSyntax
plus looksExternal into domain/artifactPathSyntax with the
deliberate policy-divergence table (artifact root vs allowedOrigins
vs exact-origin fetch). Adopt in JavaScriptArtifactPathResolution
and the Electron native specifier check with characterization
tests. Policy unification tracked in #829.
* refactor(domain): split error taxonomy into thematic modules
Move each error family out of domain/errors.ts into its own module
(base, core, provider selection/adapter, browser observation,
artifact, evidence, unknown registry, hopper, configuration) and
relocate AnalysisErrorProjection to analysisErrorProjection.
Migrate all 162 importers to the owning modules and delete
errors.ts. No re-export shims; behavior is unchanged.
* refactor(runtime): name all silent catch causes without changing diagnostics
Bind cause in every bare catch and unhandled rejection across src/.
Real failures preserve the cause for logging; best-effort cleanup
carries an explicit comment. Caller-visible and Evidence strings are
byte-identical to before.
* fix(javascript): honor package exports condition order

* fix(javascript): resolve exports against Node's full condition set
The declared-order fix selected targets against {default, import|require},
but Node's active set for the resolver that owns installed packages also
includes "node" and "node-addons". Ordering only means something against the
full active set, so a package declaring {"node", "import"} resolved to the
wrong target, and a package declaring only {"import"} reported no target
where Node resolves ./node.cjs.
Nested condition objects and fallback arrays are also valid Node targets.
They are now flattened in Node's own order: a condition object stops at its
first active key, so a null or unmatched nested target ends the search, while
an array skips the entries it cannot resolve and concatenates the rest. Node
does not fall through a target whose file is absent, so the first flattened
target stands and its absence is reported rather than skipped.
A valid exports map that matches no active condition is reported as external
with the declared condition names, and one that selects an unsupported nested
or array target no longer borrows the "not valid package JSON" reason.
The differential test installs a real package and resolves the same bare
specifier through Node and through REA, mirroring file presence between the
filesystem and the inventory. 18 of the 25 cases fail without this change.

* fix(javascript): respect HTML base URL components

* fix(javascript): resolve HTML base href dot segments and gate base syntax
A relative HTML reference resolves against the base URL's directory, and that
directory drops a trailing "." or ".." segment rather than stepping through
it. Only a trailing "/" was treated as a directory, so <base href=".">
resolved against the artifact root instead of the document directory, and
<base href="sub/."> resolved against the parent of "sub".
The base href is also a second untrusted path input, but rejectDeclaration
only applied its admission rules to the declared path, so an encoded-traversal
or backslash base href relied on files-map confinement to stay safe. Both
inputs now share one admitsCanonicalPathSyntax predicate, and a local base
href is rejected with a reason naming the base href rather than a generic
declared-path message. External base hrefs are still reported as external,
so an encoded path on an unreachable origin keeps the more accurate reason.
7 of the new cases fail without this change.

* refactor(test): colocate pure-domain tests and reduce test debt
Move focused immutable domain/contracts/adapter tests from
tests/composition/** beside their production owners under src/** as
colocated *.test.ts/*.fixture.ts, and relocate persistence-shaped
composition tests under tests/boundary/filesystem/**. Update import
paths, the Vitest project topology (shared worker context for pure
domain/contracts and recording-port service projects), the test
migration ledger, testing docs, and AGENTS.md to match.

* docs: remove test migration ledger
The cutover is complete and the ledger is no longer referenced anywhere
in source, scripts, or the docs gate. Drop the standalone artifact.

* docs: clean up stale migration artifacts
Remove empty directories left by the test migration and replace the
"final cutover" language in docs/testing.md with standing PR guidance
that no longer references the completed migration.

* fix: repair CI failures from schema, knip, and stale generated artifacts
Three root causes fixed:
1. catalog-schemas.mjs: valuesAt only traversed anyOf from Zod's
toJSONSchema, not oneOf. The webScreenshotDiffSchema change to a
discriminated union produces oneOf, so the product catalog generator
could not derive the web_screenshot_diff schema version. Add oneOf
traversal.
2. conformancePackage.ts: the test rewrite removed the only imports of
ScenarioManifest, ReplayPlan, ShimPlan, and ExpectedEvidence, making
them unused exports that knip flags. Remove the dead type aliases.
3. Regenerate stale artifacts (product catalog, MCP tool catalog, skill
metadata, conformance manifest) that drifted from the source changes.
