Require the caller artifact resource scope when reading JavaScript artifacts. Transfer failed nested ASAR cleanup to that scope so later work retries the same owner before admission. Preserve traversal failures and attempt every remaining iterator during unwind.
Validation: reconstruction, integrity, content identity, cancellation and nested-reader cleanup boundary checks.
BREAKING CHANGE: readJavaScriptArtifactFiles now requires ArtifactResourceScope as its third argument; the optional abort signal is fourth.
Keep failed reader, root descriptor, and output-tree cleanup with the caller. Drain admitted work before close, retry the same retained owners, and block new resource work while cleanup is incomplete. Preserve primary failures and complete inventory observations.
Thread ownership through JavaScript reconstruction, the CLI's one-shot scope, MCP server shutdown, verifier scripts, and test fixtures. Remove redundant ownership flags and the unused validated test wrapper.
Validate with 850 passing focused tests across 90 suites (two skipped), targeted classification and cleanup retries, static and unused-code checks, and real macOS CLI/MCP directory, ZIP, and DMG workflows. Native Windows and deep-analysis providers were not verified.
BREAKING CHANGE: Direct artifact inventory/extraction and JavaScript analysis APIs require an explicit caller-owned ArtifactResourceScope. CLI and MCP input contracts are unchanged.
Detach cancelled CDP sessions within the cleanup budget and retain event-finalization failures across retries. Honor Git filesystem encodings and exclude the promise-API probe from source-read failures.
Align existing integration regressions with retained process resources, filesystem-order-independent truncation, owned skill files, explicit native access facts and streamed JSON errors.
Validation: 132 acceptance tests passed (2 skipped), 83 affected boundary tests passed, Git/JSON/CLI boundary regressions passed, check:ci, docs:check and test discovery passed. Local verification used Node 24.18.0 on macOS; cross-platform CI remains pending.
Electron recognition matched callee spellings, so a bundler rename such as
esbuild's `import { ipcMain as ipcMain2 } from "electron"`, or a destructured
`const { contextBridge: bridge } = require("electron")`, hid every IPC
handler, BrowserWindow, contextBridge and utility process behind it.
Resolve each call and construction root lexically to its Electron import or
require origin, and classify the callee under that export's name. Shadowed
locals keep their own meaning.
On Hermes Desktop v0.21.6, whose main process is one esbuild ESM bundle,
recognized main IPC handlers rise from 1 to 204, BrowserWindow constructions
from 0 to 11, and paired renderer transmissions from 1 to 201.

Remove forwarding wrappers and shadow aliases, migrate callers and verification scripts to their owners, and share one exhaustive semantic resource-bound projection.
* test(javascript): reproduce omitted NodeNext artifact sources
Tests only: qualify current .mts/.cts artifact selection through real directory and ASAR reconstruction and the built public CLI.

* fix(javascript): retain NodeNext artifact source facts
Read .mts and .cts artifact files through the existing inert TypeScript parser, preserving selected file identities and analysis facts in directory and ASAR inputs. Document source selection and format the existing regression assertion.

* refactor(domain): consolidate canonical ordering and digest helpers (#624)
* refactor(domain): consolidate canonical ordering and digest helpers
Single owner for code-point ordering (domain/canonicalOrdering.ts)
and canonical JSON digests (domain/comparisonSemantics.ts). Delete
all local compareCodePoints/compareText/digestCanonical duplicates
and migrate every importer. No re-export shims.
* fix(ci): allow slower real browser startup
* chore(config): remove dead eslint, dedupe scripts, cacheable turbo tasks
Delete eslint.config.js (oxlint is the linter), drop lint:dead alias,
pin smol-toml, fold jscpd/scan:todos into check:pr, make test:run
cacheable, align oxlint ignores.
* fix(config): hash all test inputs for cached runs
* docs: fix architecture diagram and pretty-print tool catalog
Drop dangling REPLAY edges, add dotnet/reference/error/evaluation
nodes. Emit 2-space JSON from the catalog generator and regenerate.
* test: extract shared fixtures, drop knip carve-outs
Dedupe android/apple session tests, bundler adapter headers, and
reconstruction helpers into tests/support fixtures. Delete unused
type aliases and the knip ignoreIssues block. Lower jscpd threshold
2.7 to 2.5.
* refactor(test): colocate pure-domain tests and reduce test debt
Move focused immutable domain/contracts/adapter tests from
tests/composition/** beside their production owners under src/** as
colocated *.test.ts/*.fixture.ts, and relocate persistence-shaped
composition tests under tests/boundary/filesystem/**. Update import
paths, the Vitest project topology (shared worker context for pure
domain/contracts and recording-port service projects), the test
migration ledger, testing docs, and AGENTS.md to match.

* docs: remove test migration ledger
The cutover is complete and the ledger is no longer referenced anywhere
in source, scripts, or the docs gate. Drop the standalone artifact.

* docs: clean up stale migration artifacts
Remove empty directories left by the test migration and replace the
"final cutover" language in docs/testing.md with standing PR guidance
that no longer references the completed migration.

* fix: repair CI failures from schema, knip, and stale generated artifacts
Three root causes fixed:
1. catalog-schemas.mjs: valuesAt only traversed anyOf from Zod's
toJSONSchema, not oneOf. The webScreenshotDiffSchema change to a
discriminated union produces oneOf, so the product catalog generator
could not derive the web_screenshot_diff schema version. Add oneOf
traversal.
2. conformancePackage.ts: the test rewrite removed the only imports of
ScenarioManifest, ReplayPlan, ShimPlan, and ExpectedEvidence, making
them unused exports that knip flags. Remove the dead type aliases.
3. Regenerate stale artifacts (product catalog, MCP tool catalog, skill
metadata, conformance manifest) that drifted from the source changes.
