bflatastic b86d19feed Appearance: the popover closes when its anchor isn't shown (review of #430) ... The popover kept its open flag while its anchor was hidden (panel closed, selection changed), so it came back open the next time the row was drawn. It now remembers the last frame it was open in and counts as closed after a frame without it, as egui's remembered popups do. ROADMAP: the Appearance panel's Opacity popup.
